My Diary (20)

A week passed and Tahani still hauted Maya in her dreams.. she still had nightmares about her trying to break them up.....
Every 5 minutes Maya would look at her cartier ring with a smile on her face... and daydream about her future with 5aled...
Her parents were so happy for her, they're actually planning an engagement party for her...
5aled's parents were happy too, except they're always so busy traveling around the world for business, but that didn't bother 5aled anymore.

Maya woke up that morning with a feeling. A feeling where she didn't know what was coming.. but she felt it... she felt it was too good to be true, her having the man of her dreams and everything she wished for was too much to have...'inshalla forever' she told herself as she washed her face...
As she was having breakfast her phone rang...
"aloo?" Maya said with her mouth full
"aloo GALBY" 5aled's voice appeared
"hmmm" Maya hummed with a smile
"t3arfeen shino ilyoum??" 5aled asked happily
"shino?" Maya played along, although she knew exactly what today was.. and had the present prepared..
"MY BIRTHDAY, bass lazim et3arfeen shay.. ana mat5ara3 3la my birthday.. bas i'm happy cuz its a reason for us to go out and celebrate" 5aled said enthusaistically
"oh it is?" Maya continued playing along.. she liked teasing him
"YES IT IS" 5aled almost yelled knowing her games
"hahah ok ok ... what do u have in mind?"
"how about we celebrate, somewhere alone, somewhere we could be together, just the two of us" he suggested
"ok.. sounds cool.. where?" Maya was so excited about this
"how about.......................the beach"
"umm.. ok.. sounds good.. i like that"
"ok.. good then how about we have take away dinner and sit and talk on the beach, alone, we're going to have so much fun just together, with no one around us, no one to break in on us.." 5aled said reffering to Tahani..
"yaaa.. so we meet there at 7?"
"noo i'll come pick u up"
"5aled.. plz u know we can't..we're only engaged.." Maya said, knowing her family would't allow such a thing because they were kind of strict on these things..
"ok ok fine.. we'll meet there.. don't be late" 5aled was glowing.. he loved her so deeply that nothing could brake that.
"ok.. bye 7abeeby.. i love u" Maya said with a shy voice
"i love u .. byee"
And they hung up.

7 sharp Maya left the house, she felt better knowing he was already there..
She dressed up just for him, she wore her valentino red short dress that showed off her tanned legs, silver gina high heels.. diamond earings with a small emerald in the middle, her swarovski purse. Her hair was blow dried straight, she wore it down and put some make up on that glowed her skin and brought out her dark eyes... she looked stunning as she got into the car.. she felt complete.. she felt perfect.. she didn't want anything more.. 'this is the ultimate of being happy' she thought.. as she placed the gift on the front seat beside her. She got him a black gucci wallet, and wrote him a card.

5aled on the other hand, left the house earlier than Maya did and at 7 sharp, he was already there waiting for her..
"it's MY birthday and i'm still waiting for u" 5aled complained
Maya thought he was adorable
"hehe i'm coming 2 minutes bass" Maya loved when 5aled couldn't wait to see her, she felt special.
"ok bsir3a bass mashy bil3adaal" 5aled always cared about her like that
"hahahah ok baby..see u in a bit" she loved how he never made sense when he told her to come quickly and drive slowly at the same time...
"bye sweetheart"
5aled sat on a bench, near the seashore waiting for his beloved Maya, wearing his new blue jeans, and a black Boss long sleeve shirt folded into his elbows, and had gel on his hair..he looked spectacular, very musculin with his sexy scent of his favorite perfume, The One, by Dolce&Gabbanna...he smoked his cigaret while waiting for her, thinking about how nervous she made him feel..

10 minutes later and she was there..stepping out of the car in her red dress.. she looked beautiful, she was like an angel to him..
'how did i get so lucky' he wondered...
he stood up smiling at her..
she walked over to him with a happy, shy smile on her face...
as soon as she put the present on the bench, he came closer to her, pulled her close, and hugged her so tight, it was the best hug ever... it was a hug of warmth, depth, love, and affection
she could feel his heart beating as she lay her head softly across his chest.. they stood like that for about 15 minutes, just hugging each other, feeling each other's body on the other, feeing the warmth, smelling each other's smell.....
time stood still for both of them...
it was the best moment of their life so far...they knew they had more happy moments to come
'this is too good to be true, i think im dreaming' maya thought to herself as she cut loose from 5aled's arms...
they took a journey into each other's eyes, and as they took that journey, they saw the end of it... the happy ending of it...they saw their future, their life together as one whole family, most of all, they saw their reflection...

They sat side by side, holding each other's hands on the beach as the wind blew across their face...
Maya started to feel cold so 5aled put his arm around her...
The feeling was just so great, it was uncompareable...
They sat like that, for a long time talking about everything, just chatting about everything in their minds...

It was soon dinner time, and 5aled had a surprise prepared for her... they walked for a little on the soft sand of the sea, barefeet, with the cold water tickiling their feet...

Suddenly Maya froze.. she couldn't believe what she saw....
she only saw that in the movies...
there was a small table on the middle of the beach, with candles all around it on the sand, and a red rose in the middle of the table...
Maya felt her heart tumble... was it really true? did he really do all this for her? was she living her dream?....
she looked up to him and hugged him so tight that he said "i can't breathe" in a funny voice that only made Maya hug him tighter for a bit longer then let him go...
As soon as they sat down facing eachother.. a waiter appeared out of no where with a big bowl of salad and two plates for them to share...
5aled had already chosen the menue for them both, he knew what she liked, she loved fettuccini, and that's what he ordered for her as her main course, and the dessert was a selection of small pieces of chocolate cake, creme caramel, strawberry tart, and pecan cheesecake...
Maya couldn't ask for more... it was the night of her dreams.. having dinner with the man she loved and whom love her back without being told...
she wanted that moment to last forever... she was confident that they would last.. she had no doubt about it...
and yet...for some reason.. she couldn't remove the Tahani gut feeling... she couldn't stop feeling a bit scared of what that girl inteded to do.. she knew her heart was broken but she definately didn't brake it.. and since the fire was already dead with 5aled, Tahani should've known for herself that they were done, that they reached an end and that it was nobody's fault...
Although Tahani appeared every now and then at the back of Maya's mind, she was having the best time of her life and wanted to absorb every minute of it..and she knew.. she was never going to forget how happy 5aled made her...

My Diary (19)

They reached almost the same time at the restaurant... it was a small, cosy restaurant in the end of a small road where not many people went to...
They entered together, hand in hand, Maya keeping an eye incase she saw someone she knew...
The waiter greeted them with a warm welcoming smile, directed them to their table, gave them the menues and went away for a while... He came back, took their orders and left them to each other once again...
"7illow ilma63am" Maya smiled shyly
"inty m7alyetah" 5aled looked deep into her eyes, serious all of a sudden
Maya smiled as she blushed even more...
Right then and there, he knew this was it...he knew she was the one for him.. the only one who knew him inside out.. the only one he could depend on, rely on, he wanted to take care of her, be there for her when she neededhim, be her shoulder to cry on, her knight in shining armour, she was the girl of his dreams, just as he was the man of her dreams...he wanted her to be his, ONLY his, he wanted her for him, and he wanted the whole world to know that... he was ready.. and tonight was the night he was waiting for for so long...the night he dreamed of.. the night he knew would come when he first laid eyes on her..the night that some peopl waited a lifetime for...
he remembered the maroon box and smiled to himself.. wondering what her reaction was going to be...

The waiter got their food, they ate slowly, enjoying each other's company...staring and smiling at each other between bites...
They finished their food, and ordered chocolate fondu for dessert. Time seemed to pass very fast.
'i wish i could slow time a bit.. make each minute last an hour' thought Maya to herself as she sucked on the strawberry dipped in milk chocolate...
5aled was enjoying what he was looking at... it was better than a natural view, he thought...
She was the prettiest thing he ever saw...
"ta3aly..3indach chocolate hnee" 5aled lowered his voice, which only made it sexier
Maya leaned forward as 5aled wiped the chocolate with his finger over her lip...then sucked his finger tasting the chocolate that only tasted more delicious to him because it came from her lips, from what 5aled wanted to taste so badly....

Maya blushed, as she dipped a small piece of cake in the chocolate this time..
He took out the box from his pocket, and layed it on the table, in front of her..
Maya froze... she didn't know what was inside.. or she assumed?
"5aled...what's this 7abeeby?" Maya asked all shy and excited at the same time..
"something for you.....open it" 5aled smiled..desperate to see her reaction once she knew what it was for...
Maya took the box slowly, opened the neat wrapping, and opend it...
She froze with a shocked smile on her face.... it was a rose gold Cartier love ring..
"wh...wh...whats...this?" Maya asked
"it's because i want to marry you Maya..." 5aled said beginning to feel nervous...'why is she surprised? why didn't she expect it?..Oh God..' 5aled was thinking silently to himself...
"wow" Maya gasped.. "it's beautiful.. i love it" Maya smiled as she wore the ring on her right hand..
"does it fit?" 5aled asked..
"it fits perfectly" Maya looked into his eyes.. looking at the man of her dreams.. the man she fell in love with... the man who made her believe in love..
"so..magilteely.. tetzawijainy??" 5aled asked nervously as he held her hands and kissed the ring on her finger..
just as she was about to answer....
"oh i see you're dating now?"
Maya and 5aled froze...
Her voice was so sharp and dry they could feel the hatred coming from it..
It was her, Tahani....5aled's previous fiance..
"um hii Tahani, shlonach?" 5aled didn't like how she approached them
"b3ad tes2alni shlonach? tabee et3arf shlony? tehtam ya3ny? ya3ny itha gilt lak ana b5air wela maree'9a wela mob zaina.. are u gona give a crap about it?" Tahani raised an eyebrow as Maya stared at her..
"Tahani shfeech? feej shay?" 5aled asked, knowing exactly what was wrong with her.. she was still upset that he dumped her...for Maya..her friend...her ex-friend..
"mafeeny shay..ana b5air 5aled.. Maya shlonach? 3sa mestaansa m3a 5aled? inshalla inty mertaa7a inach 5athtee what was mine.." Tahani shot Maya a hard look
"Tahani bassech 3an il '3ala6.. yalla roo7y 5aleeny ana oo 5a6eebty broo7na" 5aled got so mad at Tahani's behaviour... when was she going to get over him?? 8 months already passed! let her move on and find someone else.. she wasn't his fiance anymore she shouldn't act that way... she was supposed to respect his wants and needs.. and he wanted her out of their lives.. he wanted her to understand that they were over before it even began....
"fine.. i'm going.." Tahani glared at them.."but know this Maya... when you break people apart, it will get back to u... and if it doesn't, i'll make sure it does.."
And with that.. Tahani left the restaurant...leaving them burried in their thoughts, far away from what was supposed to happen...

My Diary (18)

So the days passed, as weeks ended, and months finished.. Day by day Maya's relationship with 5aled grew stronger. They soon became inseperable (although they didn't go out a lot because of Maya's strict family rules, they talked on the phone 24/7). They talked about EVERYTHING, their childhood stories, school, what they studied, their favorite meal, color, hobbies, future plans, compared each other's personalities, told each other stories about themselves, every single thing you can think of........they talked about it.. they even told each other their top secrets....They enjoyed each other's company on the other side of the line..they liked just saying "hi" to each other, they like just being silent on the phone with each other...they liked everything to do with each other.
Maya and 5aled became the new Noah and Allie (from The Notebook)
They were very much in love.
8 months had passed and Maya and 5aled's relationship evolved into a deep, stronger one. One that was built on strong bases, one that cannot break, one that could survive a tornado, one that grows and grows bigger and deeper with no limits, it goes on unconditionaly..One that was rare and hard to find.

One night, 5aled called Maya and begged her to go out with him, but she said she couldn't she was too scared of her parents finding out or someone seeing them. She always cared about what others would think.. she wanted to do things the right way, the way no one could talk abou her or ruin her reputation. She loved 5aled dearly, but still, she couldn't.
"please Maya 3aad 3shaany...3shaan 5aa6ry" 5aled pleaded
"magdar 5aloody walla a5aaf someone sees us b3dain mayeswa 3laina we get into trouble"
"plzz 9adgeeny ma7ad bekoon hnaak...bass il laila..et3arfeen laish 3ad?" 5aled's voice was so tender she couldn't resist..
"laish?" Maya asked in a soft voice with a smile on her face, she liked hearing him talk, she loved the way his voice would travel from her ear into her heart and soul, through her body, leaving her tingle.
"l2na ilyoum is the day our life would change forever, or i hope so.." 5aled said happy and nervous at the same time..
"laish? shbe9eer?" Maya started to think
"wela shay.. inty bass ta3aaly il ma63am 9adgeeny you won't regret it.. ana a7ibich wa5aaf 3laich akthar min mat5aafeen 3la ro07ich, fa just trust me tonight ok?"
Maya thought about it, she loved 5aled, she knew she was safe with him, but her parents.....
Then she thought 5aled never begged her and insisted on something this much, there had to be something waiting for them...she wanted to know how their lives would change forever by going out with him for one night, 'maybe he was expressing the way he felt about her' she told herself... after considering her situation, she decided.......
"ok...bass plz lets not be late 5aled, tara my parents are serious, they don't joke, i could literally be dead if someone i knew saw me.." Maya was cautious, she always was.
"i know i know 7abeebty, now yalla badly, i'll be there in an hour.. plz don't be late.. you'll see it's worth it" 5aled said a smile crossed his face
"ok darling.." Maya smiled at the thought of seeing him...it gave her butterflies in her stomach

Maya took a shower as quickly as she could, dried her hair, put on some make up for the night, wore her black pencil skirt with her crispy white shirt that had a ribbon on the neck...it made her neck longer and her figure shapier, she settled on her black Russell&Broomley's high heels, kept her hair down, put on her diamond stud earings, wore her watch, a diamond tennis bracelet, took her handbag and left the house nervous and excited..

5aled on the other hand took a quick shower using his new sexy shower gel, wore his white neatly ironed thob, red '3itra, Gucci black slippers, silver watch, Tiffany cafflings, put on his favorite perfume The One by Dolce&Gabbana, left the house with a huge smile on his face and sparks in his eyes staring at the wrapped maroon box in his hands...he couldn't wait any longer.....he was dying to see her reaction...

My Diary (17)

The week passed by with Maya next to 5aled's side. She never let him out of her sight, she was always there taking care of him while his parents were still out of the country.
They sat, they talked, laughed, ate, had a nice time. Maya forgot all about the pain she felt when she thought she was losing him. He made it all go away.
"hello" said the dr. coming to check on 5aled, "how r u doing today?"
"fine thanks" said 5aled with a smile on his face
the dr. smiled at Maya, and she smiled back, blushing a little, sensing that the dr. sensed something between them.
"u look good today, we'll let u go tomorrow morning" said the dr. with a wink
"REALLY?" Maya jumped in, she was dying for him to leave the hospital.
"yes.." smiled the dr.
"thank god!" said 5aled with a big smile, looking at Maya, while the dr. found his way out.
"did u hear that??" Maya went over to kiss the top of 5aled's head
"yes i did ya b3d galby" he said as looked at her in the eyes, seeing his future.

The next day
Maya got up early that morning, rushed to the bathroom, took a shower, and changed her clothes into fresh new ones, put on some light make up, put a hairband on her hair, and left the house, dialling Lulwa's number
"heeeyyyy" Maya said before Lulwa could even say hello
"hii" Lulwa said in a tired voice
"oh shit u're sleeping... i'm so sorry! i just wanted to tell u... 5aled's getting out of the hospital today, i'm really happy lulu, and sorry i haven't seen u around for long, i've just been so busy with him u know.." Maya felt happy, but guitly at the same time for ditching her friend... 'well, she understands' figured Maya
"its okaaay hun! u go get ur man, and call me when u're done, dont worry about anything, luv u" Lulwa said, making her friend feel better
"luv u too! byee"

Maya reached the hospital as she realized she didn't have anything for breakfast. She got out of the car, and literally ran to 5aled's room. She froze for a second... 'where is he?!' she thought.
His bed was neat and clean, his things were gone, he was gone.. no sign of him.
Maya made her way to the door, confused...
"where are u going pretty girl" his voice shot across the room, as he was walking out of the bathroom fully dressed, wearing jeans and a black Armani t-shirt.
Maya turned quickly and ran over to hug him
"wooow..calm down there" 5aled said, laughing swooping her up
"3baaly re7t 3any" Maya said with a shy smile
"ana aroo7 3anich? ana aroo7 3an 7abeebat galby?" he said looking at her, kissing her cheek
Maya couldn't stop smiling, her lips were smiling, her eyes were smiling, her heart was smiling, and her soul was smiling.
She felt safe, she felt at home, she knew now and then, that 5aled was the one.
"did u have breakfast?" 5aled asked, hoping she would say no so he could have breakfast with her
"no" Maya was still smiling
"then lets go have breakfast" he said as he took her hand and lead the way.
As much as she wanted to keep holding his hand, Maya knew it was wrong, so she slipped her hand away from his and kept walking, he noticed, but didn't say anything, he wanted her to be herself, plus, he liked that she cared about what's right and wrong.
They sat at the cafeteria of the hospital, oreder cheese sandwiches and milk tea, and sat on a small circle table.
They sat facing each other, eating small bites, and looking at each other in between, and smiling.
"Maya" 5aled's voice was deep, "inty t7ibeeny?"
Maya blushed at the question, she did love him but it was hard for her to say it to him because she never said i love you before, she was never in love actually, 5aled was her first, and hopefully her last. So she just nodded instead, avoiding his gaze.
5aled knew this was too much for her, he wanted her to look at him in his eyes and say it, but he just let it go, he knew the time was coming. Soon.
"ana a7ibich, oo 7abaitech min awal ma shiftech" he looked straight into her eyes, making her blush, as he remembered the first time she blushed in front of him at the restaurant. He wanted more memories, he wanted more. He wanted a future with her, he wanted his whole life with her by his side, just like the previous days at the hospital.
He was just about to say something when he saw her. His ex. Tahani.
Maya saw him staring, so she turend to look at what he was looking at, and to her extreme shock, she saw Tahani, her so-called friend whom she took her fiance away from her. At the sight of Tahani, Maya felt sick and nautious and disgusted with her self, and then the rush of mixed emotions from the past hard days, and Tahani and everything flew through her body like a huge flow of waves. She wanted to get up, go back, erase what's happening. The only thing that kept her at her place was the feeling she felt towards 5aled, just a glimpse of what she felt during the days when he was unconscious was enough to let her fight for 5aled, even if it meant losing Tahani.
"Maya?" Tahani said, looking confused
"hii Tahani" Maya mumbled in a low voice
"what is she doing here?" Tahani asked 5aled, prepared for a fight
"she was here with me, she's taking care of me, 'why do you care about her, we're not a couple anymore!' 5aled wanted to add 'she had to understand that' 5aled thought
"oh" Tahani said dumbstruck, "i was just here to see you, i just heard about the accident, but it seems you're okay.. madarait i've been replaced" Tahani shot a look of rage at Maya, and left.
"don't worry" 5aled whispered when Tahani was clearly gone.. "she has no right to do that"
"yaa" Maya said softly, thinking about what just happend
"you know that we only started when Tahani and i were done, right?" 5aled asked, trying to eas Maya's frustration
"yes, but.."
"and u do know that me and Tahani were never right for each other, right?" 5aled interrupted
"yes, and.." Maya tried to finish, but 5aled interrupted her again
"so then why all the frustration 7abeebty, 5ala9 e7na we're in love, let her accept that. Everything is hard at first to adjust to.." 5aled said in a soft tone that eased Maya's mind.
"ya u're right.." Maya thought about it..

Maya spent the day with Lulwa, after having breakfast with 5aled. He went home to rest. Every few hours Maya would call him and ask if he was okay or if he needed anything...
He said he liked hearing her voice, and was glad they were working it out...
He had a feeling Maya was it.
And she had a feeling 5aled was her first and last.

Later that night, when Maya got ready for bed, she tought about what 5aled said, and she agreed with him.. 'it's not like i stole him from her, we're not kids anymore.. he was the one who left her..i'm sorry for her, i honestly am, but what else can i do.. they weren't right for each other.. what was i supposed to do? and how could i control my feelings?...his feelings??...
This all happend when they were over..when he broke up with her, and i still tried avoiding him... til when am i going to kill my feelings and happiness for others...' Maya thought to herself, and went to sleep thinking of 5aled.

She woke up the next morning with a huge smile on her face...
little did she know what was about to come from her so called "friend".

My Diary (16)

Maya couldn't believe her eyes. She felt numb. It took her a few seconds to absorb what really happend.
The nurse went to call the doctor, who came within a few seconds..
"ilsalaam 3laikom" the dr. said smiling at Maya
Maya was in total apathy, that she didn't return his greeting
"lets have a look" continued the dr. as he was heading towards 5aled
he checked his vital sigsn, his temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, checked his eyes with a flash light, and wrote something on his clipboard.
5aled turned to face Maya, with a soft, tired smile on his face.
"Maya?" 5aled whispered
Maya just stood there, unable to show any emotion.
"i'll be back later" said the dr. as he headed out the door
"he should rest" said the nurse on her way out, as well.
5aled smiled at Maya, looking deeply into her eyes, as he gestured for her to come closer
Maya felt her heart literally go numb. She took a step closer to him. He looked at her, and she knew what that look meant, he was telling her to come closer by his eyes, and just looking at him, Maya understoon what he meant. So she took another few steps closer to him, until he held out his hand to her and she held it. She held it hard, she couldn't believe it was her 5aled, the one whom she thought would never wake up, the one whom she thought that she would never have. And there he was, in bed in front of her, holding her hand, with a smile on his face.
"7abeebty" 5aled whispered, "ta3aly hnee", he took a deep breath, "next to me"..
And to that, Maya sat on the chair next to his bed, put her head on his chest, and cried non stop. She broke down, she cried all the worry out, all the pain she felt for the past weeks, she cried the suffer she suffered, the loneliness she felt without him, she cried all her feelings out.
He lay there, putting his hand over her head, touching her soft hair, with such tender.
She sat there crying for another hour, with his arm covering her upper back.
Finally, she was able to force herself to stop crying and talk to him, talk to her 5aled.
"i'm sorry" Maya whispered, as she wiped her tears with her hands, 5aled took her hands in his, and looked deeply into her eyes, he didn't say anything, he just stared into her eyes for a long time. Maya felt as if he could see right through her, she felt naked, she felt exposed and transparent to him. He smiled at her, as she smiled back to him, he wiped the silent tears streaming once again, down her face by the tip of his fingers. Maya closed her eyes, squeezig them hardly, as he pulled her towards him..
"i thought i'd lose u" Maya said through his chest
"it's ok.. i'm here now" 5aled said, thankful to be back, with Maya in his arms...
"i don't know what was i going to do without u" Maya mumbled through his chest
"ssshh..its ok..sshh..i'm here now..i'm not going anywhere" 5aled comforted her
"you promise?" Maya asked, pulling her head away from his chest to face him and look at his mesmorizing eyes that dazzled her.
"i promise" 5aled kissed the top of her head..." this is the start of our future together"
Maya calmed down, smiled at him and asked "really?"
"yes 7abeebty"
Maya kept smiling, she knew that after all the bad days and nights she had, the worry she felt, the lonliness, and fear that kept growing rapidly in her body like insects giving birth. She knew that after all this, happiness was bound to come..

My Diary (15)

2 weeks later

All Maya did these past two weeks was spend all the time she could afford by 5aled's side..
His hospital room was the first and last place she would go to for every single day..
She talked to him, told him stories about her childhood, wished he could hear her for one second, brought him food (although he couldn't eat, he was on a drip), she got him magazines, movies, cold beverages, shaving equipment, she bought him a men's perfume, a pair of jeans, and two tshirts from Zara..
She made the cold, blue room feel like home.
It broke her heart that his parents were out of the country and didn't know much about their son. They were too busy running the family business..and 5aled was the victim.

One evening

Maya was sitting by 5aled's side, she came back there after her hair appointmet, she had it cut, she wanted a new look, for 5aled.
She was covering his hand by her hands, talking to him, whispering to him about what she did that day, and how nice it would be for her to talk to him for real.
She wanted desperately to show him her new hair cut, she loved him, she wanted him to see it, to notice it, most of all to like it. Her patience was reaching more than her limit, she felt like she was drowning in her patience, gasping for air, to breathe again, but that only could happen if 5aled woke up.
She held his hand tighter, squeezed it softly and kissed it with passion. She looked at his closed eyes, rubbed his hair by her other hand, and smiled a broken smile.
She wished he was concious again, she wished she could wake him up, she was willing to lose anything in gaining his concious back. she wanted him so badly nothing could help her anymore. Lulwa couldn't comfort her anymore, no one could.
Nothing she did anymore could make her forget about him or even take her mind off of him for a while..
She thought about him constantly, he was the air she was breathing.
She couldn't take it anymore.. she was patient for long, she couldn't handle it anymore, she wanted him, she wanted to scream to bring him back but she knew screaming won't do her good.. she was prepared to cut off her arm for him to return to her..
She sat there crying her heart out, thinking about the day she met him, the day she saw him and fell imediately in love with him, she thought about how she never believed in love at first sight and that now she did.. because of him....because of 5aled.
She cried and cried, uncontrolably, she felt as if she was about to black out, her body couldn't hold back the tears, and at the same time was too weak for them to come out..
She felt totally lost..
She felt worthless..
She felt weak..
She felt sorry..
She wanted to die..
The pain was too much, she couldn't bare it any longer, she was desperate for it to go away, but that would only happen when 5aled woke up, and she knew that might not happen anytime soon.
"What would i do without u??" Maya said in between her sobs, crying uncontrolably, gasping for air.
Her heart couldn't take it any longer, her mind couldn't think straight anymore, her body was too weak to function, her sole was too lost to find its way back..
She lost hope.
'im not in a movie' she thought, 'he's never going to wake up'
And she cried harder, feeling useless...
Every second passed was like an eternity to her..
The pain never went away, it was like a knife was stabbed in her heart..
It was a mixture of pain, worry, and regret.
She put her head down, next to him on the bed, her arms over her head, crying like a new baby born, nothing was able to stop her from crying..
He was her only remedy..
She continued crying...........until she felt something...
She raised her head up, opening her swollen eyes, to see something she never thought possible, something she never thought would happen...
Maya froze...
'im imagining this' she told herself as she was about to put her head down again, holding his hand this time..
She felt it, again..
She felt him squeeze her hand back..
'im dreaming' she thought.. 'this's too good to be true'
She started breathing harder, as the nurse came in..
The nurse checked his pulse, blood pressure, temperature and heartrate, and some other stuff Maya didn't know what it was for..

"Look!" the nurse said with a smile, almost screaming
Maya saw what the nurse was all happy about, but she didn't want to put her hopes up again, incase she was dreaming..
"It looks like our patient is awake..." the nurse smiled, looking at Maya

Maya went blank..
'did the dr. just say he doesn't know when he'll recover' Maya asked herself, wondering with tears in her eyes if this is really happening or if it was a night mare...

Lulwa pulled Maya by the arm, softly and sat her down..
"listen sweety" Lulwa began as Maya started crying again, "he'll be fine, i promise"
"what if he doesn't?? i didn't even give him a chance! AND I LOVE HIM!" Maya said between her sobs..
"smila 3laih Maya, he'll be fine, it's just a matter of time, u'll see" Lulwa said hopefully

They sat in the hospital for another hour..
Maya didn't want to go inside and see him in the state he was in, she couldn't bare it...
It was too much for her.
After a while, when the nurse gave them permission to see 5aled for only 5 minutes, not more, they agreed on Lulwa going and checking on him, because still it was too much for Maya to see the one she loved silently, laying down on the hospital bed, with the drip on his hand, and unconcious, and unaware of what's going on around him.
She was too terrified and scared to see him like that.
Lulwa's heart started pounding harder, she was nervous herself..
As she went it, she saw the tall, handsome 5aled they once knew, unconcious, filled with bruises, the drip on his hand, sleeping quietly, unaware of what's going on around him..
At that moment, Lulwa knew that if Maya was the one who saw him like that, she would fall into pieces..
Lulwa's eyes watered, but she forced herself to look strong, just for Maya's sake..
"alla yshaafeek wegaweek weraje3lak 9i7etik inshalla" Lulwa whispered.
The room was quiet and cold, nothing but the heart rate machine beeping (tootootoo).
'poor maya' Lulwa thought as she headed out the door
"how is he??" Maya asked full of concern
"he's ok maya sweetheart..come on lets go home..he'll be better tomorrow.." Lulwa predicted
Maya couldn't stop herself from crying some more, everytime she thought she couldn't cry anymore, that her eyes didn't have any more tears left, she cried again..and again..and again..
She cried the whole way until she reached home...
She didn't want this to happen.. she wished things were different..now she REALLY wanted him, she wanted him to be hers, forever..She didn't care what the consecquences were this time, she just wanted 5aled in her life..!! And now it was probably too late..
"Lulu can u plz sleep over" Maya pleaded, she didn't want to be alone that night, she was still in shock, and she was still scared and terrified
"sure love, i will, just gimmie pyjamas to borrow" Lulwa smiled softly at her sad friend
"sure" Maya forced a smile, but it only came out as a half smile with no sparks in her eyes..

Maya lay in her bed that night, and Lulwa in the folding bed. They stayed awake for hours just thinking, and then it occurred to Lulwa, 'what about Tahani? Does she know about 5aled's accident?'
Lulwa didn't want to put pressure on Maya, she had enough on her plate..
'She doesn't need to know.." Lulwa concluded, 'it's easier for Maya that way'

Maya woke up early that morning, she didn't want to sleep any longer, she just wanted to be at the hospital, by 5aled's side..
She felt a sick feeling in her stomach, like someone just puncehd her, at the thought of 5aled and how no one know's when he'll recover, or if he ever will..
'he will, he will..' Maya told herself, just to keep herself sane.

She got up, took a hot shower, scrubbed her body hard from the remainder of yesterday, dried her hair, got dressed and wrote a short note to Lulwa that she would be in the hospital.
She left to the car, without her handbag, no makeup, nothing, she didn't even have breakfast, she was too occupied thinking about 5aled and the accident..
She still felt like crying, but she did't want to cry because she had a feeling he would recover, and soon.

Today, she had hope, she had a glimpse of faith, she knew that she had to think positive at times like these, negative thinking didn't help at all, if so it only makes things worse.
On her way to visit 5aled, she bought a red rose from the small flower shop in the hospital, and then she headed straight to his recovery room..
"Bism allah alra7man ilra7eem" Maya whispered as she opened the door knob..
There he was, the guy who made her fall in love with him from the moment she laid eyes on him, the guy who made her heart beat fast and stop at the same time, the guy who made her knees tremble, the guy who made her feel something knew, the guy who made her feel love for the very first time. 5aled, her 5aled.
He was laying there, still unconcious, unaware that the one he loves was right beside him.
She wanted to cry....but she didn't, she forced herself to be strong, he needed someone strong by his side..
She put the red rose she bought in a glass, and filled it with water, and put it on the side table next to him.. she wanted him to feel her presence, even if he was uncouncious... but how??
Maya pulled a chair next to him on the bed, sat on it and held is cold hand, she kissed it softly, held his hand with both her hands, and smiled at him..
She smiled at him and he couldn't see her, he didn't even know she was there..
"5aled" Maya whispered with tears clouding her eyes..
"5aled..5aloody..ana Maya" she hoped against hope that he would hear her, but he didn't, he couldn't. Not in the state he was in, he was severely injured.
"et3arf laish ana hnee?" Maya stopped, waiting for an effect.....
But nothing.
"i'm here for u, i'm here cuz i wanna be next to u 5aled..i'm sorry i didn't give u a chance, i was wrong...i could've lost you in a split second, and i didn't know that.. i wana be yours, 5la9 i made my choice, i don't care about what people think, i don't care what Tahani will feel, i have feelings too, and i want u, only u.." Maya poured her heart out to him while, tears were falling against her soft pink cheecks..

She was there for two hours, talking to him, pouring her heart out to him, telling him what she always wanted to tell him. She told him how he made her feel, as she smiled at the thought of the way he looked at her at Tahani's party...
She missed him so badly, she missed his voice the most... she just wanted him to say just one word, to hear his voice again.. but that was impossible.
If only she knew, she would have recorded his comforting voice and listen to it when she needed him the most.
Her insides were shattered, she was too weak to even think. All she wanted was 5aled to wake up, she wanted him back, she didn't want to wait, she already waited a day and it felt like a year had passed, how was she going to cope with the lonely coming days, until he woke up...
